Diving, conservation, training and planning your trip
When is the best season to dive in Thailand?
In the Andaman Sea (Phuket, Similan, Richelieu Rock) the season runs from November to April with visibility that can exceed 30 metres. In the Gulf of Thailand (Koh Tao, Koh Samui) diving is possible almost all year, with a peak from March to September.
Do I need a certification to dive with you?
No. We welcome beginners for a try-dive supervised by an instructor, as well as certified PADI, CMAS, SSI or ADIP divers. Our centre is a 5★ IDC: every course from Open Water to Instructor is taught on site.
Can we see whale sharks and manta rays?
Yes, mainly at Richelieu Rock, the Similan Islands and Koh Bon between February and May. These remain wild encounters: we never guarantee a sighting and we strictly respect approach distances.
How do your dives contribute to ocean protection?
Every outing includes an environmental briefing, responsible mooring and the collection of any debris found. We take part in Project AWARE and Dive Against Debris, and part of our income funds local conservation work.
What level is required for a Similan liveaboard?
Open Water is enough for most liveaboards, but we recommend Advanced to fully enjoy current-exposed sites such as Richelieu Rock or Koh Tachai.
Is equipment included?
Yes, fully serviced equipment is included in our packages: BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, mask and dive computer. You are of course welcome to bring your own gear.
Which species can be seen in Thailand?
More than 800 reef fish species, including clownfish, angelfish, triggerfish, grouper, trevally, barracuda, green turtle, manta ray and whale shark. Our 20 species sheets detail their life cycles.
What should I do if I meet a stonefish?
Never touch it and never place your hands or knees on the bottom. Its dorsal spines are extremely venomous. If stung, immerse the area in hot water (45 °C) and seek medical help immediately.
Do you offer trips for non-divers?
Yes. Our programmes include snorkelling, national park excursions, sea kayaking and cultural discovery so families can travel together.
How do I book and get a quote?
Contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram, by phone or through our contact form. An advisor answers from 08:00 to 22:00, seven days a week, and sends a personalised quote within 24 hours.
Is dive insurance mandatory?
It is strongly recommended. We can point you to specialised insurers covering hyperbaric treatment and repatriation.
Can I dive just before flying?
No. You must wait at least 18 hours after a single dive, and 24 hours after repetitive or multi-day diving.
